Shoppers have already spotted Christmas trees and decorations for sale at some Costco stores around the country.
Customers eagerly shared photos of the new range in the Facebook group Christmas Mums Australia, according to 7 News.
Wreaths, ribbons, baubles, garlands and trees with all the trimmings are already available at the Crossroads store in Casula.
“It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas!” one Facebook user wrote.
“This makes me so happy!” another added.

But while some shoppers were thrilled by the festive items on sale, others branded it “madness” as others asked if it was a “joke” on Facebook.
“There’s a lot of things wrong in the world right now but this takes the cake,” one said.
“This is going to cause more depression amongst some people. No jobs, money tight,” another pointed out.
“It really is a joke. Doesn’t need to come out until late November,” someone else mused.

It’s believed Costco is trying to brighten 2020 by bringing some festive cheer early, being the first major retailer in Australia to release its Christmas range.
And it seems Costco has welcomed an early Christmas not only in Australia, but across most of its stores internationally.
Shoppers from all over the world – including Canada and the United States – have taken to social media to remind everyone that Halloween hasn’t even happened yet, but we can already deck the halls thanks.
Every year my sister, @HarperGilly, and I have a competition to see who can spot #Xmas stuff in the shops first. Every year she wins. Tho I think 27 Aug may be her earliest victory yet. Bring on 2021!! pic.twitter.com/K5q9oITR9V— Sophie Brookes (@SophieJBrookes) August 27, 2020
